Bakery Lane started with a deep desire to put family first while still pursuing something I love. You see, I became a new parent and wanted a job that would let me prioritize my kid's needs - doctor's appointments, school stuff, you name it. Then, the pandemic hit, and it got me thinking. After some serious soul-searching and research, I realized baking could be the perfect fit.

I've always had a passion for baking, and I wanted to bring something special to North Iowa. So, in April 2020, I started testing recipes and figuring things out. It was a bit nerve-wracking at first, but with the encouragement of a few close friends, I finally announced Bakery Lane by August.

Since then, it's been a wild ride of growth and learning. Balancing being an entrepreneur and a mom hasn't been easy, but baking has always been my happy place. It's not just about making cookies; it's about finding peace and relieving stress.
